Seems like a week or two before I am about to head out of the country to meet with pastors, God starts waking me up an hour or so before my alarm. I often try to resist the call to pray… I know that sounds bad, but it’s true. Inevitably I can’t shake it, so I get up and pray. Once I am up, I am so glad I did. I truly believe that nothing great ever is accomplished for the Kingdom that isn’t first bathed in prayer. Prayer is our greatest spiritual weapon to breakdown strongholds and open the door for God’s Spirit to move powerfully.

Below, is a short video showing my last training trip in Cap Haitian. I believe that prayer paved the way of God’s blessing on this trip. I had an amazing time with these incredible Pastors as we began The Timothy Initiative training. In the last two months they have already begun recruiting over 100 Timothy’s to make Disciples who make Disciples.

As I prepare for the upcoming trip to the Dominican Republic, God has been waking me up with a passion to pray for the pastors there. Jared Nelms (International Director of The Timothy Initiative) and I are in for an exciting trip as we meet with key leaders there to help them design and establish a training program for the pastors of their nation. They believe God is calling them to raise up/train pastors to plant over 5000 churches in the next 5 years. We are so honored to be a part of this amazing move of God in the Dominican. It’s an insanely God sized goal!
